Island-wide Resources

This group, hosted by Vegan Shift, has almost 6000 members! Join today to stay up-to-date on food, farm, and community things across the islands. Join them here.
Oahu Resources:
Vegan on Oahu Facebook Group
One of the most active groups on Facebook! This chatty community has almost 2000 members and shares shopping tips, recipes, restaurant recommendations, and so much more. Join them here.
Vegetarian Society of Hawaii
A long-running group of vegetarian and vegan activists. Hosts monthly dinners and lectures, usually for free. Learn more here: VSH.org

A new-ish (I think) sanctuary for animals big and small. Connect with them here. They have a fundraiser coming up April 3, Pau Hana for Haku!
Veg-Fest Oahu
Dates not yet announced for 2019, but likely in September. This will be the third year of this wildly successful vegan event. Find them here.
Meetup
Multiple vegan and vegetarian groups on Meetup, however, I’m not sure how active they are.
Maui Resources:
Leilani Farm Sanctuary
A long-running rescue center for animals of all types. Learn more here.
Maui Goat Yoga
I’m over-the-moon in love with goats, so I’m pretty excited to check this out next month on a trip to Maui! Find them on IG for goat adorableness.
